To make a Duck a la Presse reservation request, please follow the link below. Our Duck a la Presse reservations must be confirmed through a reservationist with a credit card, and must be made at least 72hrs prior to dining. Open dates are subject to availability.
Pre-Event Seating & Events: we strongly encourage the following guidelines, as with event seating everyone arrives around the same time and are on the same schedule. This can be extremely daunting for our kitchen taking into consideration the quality of food and service we execute. All of our plates are prepared to order and the majority of our guests like to enjoy multiple courses.
Parties of 2 - 90 minutes
Parties of 4 or more - 2 hours minimum
We do book some events and evenings (particularly with events downtown) 2-3 weeks in advance. Reservations are always encouraged.
The Oyster Bar & the Terrace are both available on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests for seating in the Bar or the Terrace are noted on your reservation request, but we DO NOT take direct reservations for either. The Bar is spontaneous in its nature, and nature doesn't always allow us to seat the Terrace.
We will do our best to honor requests for these seating areas if available when you show up for your reservation. To ensure a greater likelihood of satisfying these requests, it is recommended that you arrive early for your reservation, or call us directly 1/2 hour before your arrival.
Large Parties & Special Occasions may require special attention. Reservations at Meritage are necessarily nuanced. The more information you provide, the better we will be able to meet your needs. Parties of 7+ must allow as much time as possible and we will follow-up with your group to go over details in advance to ensure a successful evening. Parties of 7 or larger need to book via phone 651.222.5678.
Tasting Menus and Special Menus can be accommodated by letting us know ahead of time. Our 5-course tasting menu is always available during dinner service. If you are interested in a 7 or 9 course tasting menu, we ask that you please let us know upon making your reservation. For special menu items, such as the Duck a la Presse, they are available on a limited basis and require a 72 hour advance notice.
